I wondered if my stamina would hold out. I registered for this conference in 2020.
Today…actually, yesterday, I finally attended. A full day conference. More to come tomorrow.
For now, the day is done. I’m left feeling:
Encouraged, inspired, hopeful
My brain is busy with ideas and innovations
Dreams are awakened.
My teaching soul is encouraged and looking forward. My human soul feels like, in this moment anyway, we’re going to be alright.
Tomorrow, new opportunities for inspiration and connection. Always learning.
Wow, 2020 to 2022. I’m impressed at how committed both you and the conference were! Glad to hear you came out of it feeling positive. I’ve been having a lot of social anxiety going into things like this these days but am (almost) always happy with the outcome.

Hold it … I thought I read a post on my phone that was about you and Jennifer presenting together … clearly I can’t keep track of anything… except I think you two should do a pop-up PD for Book Love!!!

Yes we did! And we’d be game for doing something.

The feeling you have after a conference confirms how applicable it is for your teaching role. Many of the words and phrases such as “Encouraged, inspired, hopeful.” confirms that. It was worth the wait.

I LOVE conferences, and I’m so glad and grateful to hear that you were able to attend. For me, I spend the first two days gathering up inspiration and ideas and energy, and then…you’re right. There’s a certain level of stamina it takes not to go on total overload. Thanks for sharing this post. Anxious for the day I can attend conferences, too!
